About Us

Our Mission

Our mission is to be the leading voice and support network for individuals and families in Western Australia living with Neurofibromatosis. We are dedicated to ensuring that they are heard, supported, and connected at every stage of their journey.

Our Vision

We envision a strong, informed, and empowered community where children, young people, and families affected by Neurofibromatosis in Western Australia have access to comprehensive information, peer support, advocacy, and resources. Our goal is to improve their quality of life and create a lasting positive impact throughout the community.

Our Purpose

To achieve this vision, we empower and support our community by providing accessible and reliable information about Neurofibromatosis. We build strong peer-to-peer connections to reduce isolation among those affected. We actively advocate for greater awareness, improved services, and better care pathways. Furthermore, we collaborate with neurological leaders, clinicians, and researchers to enhance outcomes for families living with Neurofibromatosis.

"Empowering Western Australian families to live well with Neurofibromatosis is at the heart of everything we do."

About the Daisy in Our Logo

Daisy Flower

The daisy has been chosen as the international symbol for Neurofibromatosis (NF). This resilient flower thrives across all continents, in every climate, and in almost any soil. It flourishes with minimal care, rewarding attention with its fresh, vibrant beauty. Despite its widespread presence, the daisy often goes unnoticed compared to other flowers. Yet, when seen, its simple elegance and quiet strength serve as a reminder of resilience and hope.

Our Committee

Our committee members are committed individuals who support our mission to improve the lives of those affected by Neurofibromatosis. They provide guidance, help with decision-making, and actively contribute to our community efforts.
